Shipping Policy

We ship from Winnipeg, Manitoba. This page tells you exactly how it works — where we ship, how long it takes, what it costs, and what to do if a package shows up damaged.

Where we ship

Canada — nationwide. Every province and territory. Standard service, expedited where available, and remote-area surcharges applied at cost with no markup.

United States and international — by request. We will quote on a case-by-case basis. Email a product list and shipping address; a rate and transit time will come back before you commit.

Some oversized items (networking racks, large battery packs, freight-class kits) ship LTL or freight. These are not in the standard rate table — they are quoted per order based on your postal code and the carrier rate. No hidden markup.

How long processing takes

In-stock items: typically 1 to 3 business days from order to label. Wired N Wireless is a small shop, so same-business-day shipping claims are not honest for the operation — they are not made.

Special-order items, oversized freight, and built-to-order requests are quoted with a realistic timeline on the order confirmation. If something is going to slip, you will hear from us.

Carriers

We use Canada Post for most parcels under 30 kg and for PO boxes and remote delivery. Purolator, UPS, and FedEx are used for heavier, fragile, or time-sensitive shipments. LTL freight (for racks and pallets) goes through whichever Canadian freight line has the best rate and transit to your destination on the day we book it.

What shipping costs

Standard rate structure on the checkout page: real-cost shipping calculated from your address, with a flat-rate option on eligible small-parcel orders where available. Any posted free-shipping threshold applies to standard small-parcel shipping only — oversized, freight, and international orders are excluded and will be quoted.

Shipping is not marked up to make margin. If a carrier quotes us $47, you pay $47.

Local pickup — Winnipeg

Winnipeg customers can pick up in person at no charge. Choose the local pickup option at checkout; we will email when your order is ready and confirm a pickup window. Pickup is typically available within one business day for in-stock items.

Pickup address is provided on the confirmation email — we do not run a full storefront, so it is by appointment only.

Damage in transit

Freight and oversized shipments: inspect before you sign. If the crate or pallet is visibly damaged, photograph it before the driver leaves, note the damage on the bill of lading, and email us the photos the same day. A signed, unnoted delivery tells the carrier the shipment arrived clean, and it is much harder to claim after that.

Small-parcel damage: email us within 5 business days of delivery with photos of the box and the damaged item. We will work it out — replacement, repair, or refund depending on what makes sense. Keep the packaging until we have confirmed the resolution; carriers sometimes want to inspect it.

If something goes wrong

Tracking stuck, item lost, address wrong, delivery attempted while you were at work — email support@wirednwireless.ca and we will sort it. A real person reads every message.
