REFUND POLICY

We want you to be happy with what you buy from Wired N Wireless (Bay Tech Ltd.). Here is how returns, refunds, and exchanges work — please read the section that applies to what you bought.

PURCHASES (Robotics, Ride-On Vehicles, Networking & Security)

30-DAY RETURN WINDOW

You have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return. To be eligible:

  • The item must be in the same condition as when you received it — unused, unassembled (for ride-ons), undamaged, and with all original accessories, manuals, and packaging.
  • You must have the order number or a copy of the order confirmation email.
  • The item must not be on the "Final Sale" list (see below).

HOW TO START A RETURN

Email support@wirednwireless.ca with your order number and the reason for the return. We will send you return instructions and a return address. Please do not ship an item back before we have authorized the return.

RETURN SHIPPING

You are responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or we shipped the wrong item. We recommend a trackable service — we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.

REFUND TIMING

Once we receive and inspect the item, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable (except where the return is our fault).

RESTOCKING FEE

Large items and ride-on vehicles that are returned opened but in resaleable condition may be subject to a 15% restocking fee to cover repackaging and inspection.

FINAL SALE ITEMS — NON-RETURNABLE

The following cannot be returned or refunded once delivered:

  • Items marked "Final Sale" or "Clearance".
  • Opened consumables (batteries, flash cards, filament, sensors that have been wired into a breadboard or soldered).
  • Bulk cable (Cat6A, etc.) that has been cut from a spool or pulled from the reel.
  • Custom-built or custom-configured orders.
  • Gift cards.

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCT

If your item arrives damaged or defective, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and the shipping box. We will replace the item, send missing parts, or refund — whichever resolves the issue fastest. Manufacturer warranties continue to apply beyond that window; we will help you open a warranty claim with the manufacturer if needed.

WRONG ITEM SHIPPED

If we shipped you the wrong item, we pay return shipping and send the correct item at no cost.

MEDICAL EQUIPMENT RENTALS

Rentals are a separate category with their own rules — please read carefully.

NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE SHIPPED

Medical equipment rentals (pulse oximeters, blood pressure monitors, continuous glucose monitors, portable ECGs, etc.) are non-refundable once the device has been shipped. This is because the device is part of a rental agreement, not a purchase, and because hygiene, calibration, and chain-of-custody standards require a refurbishment step between users.

EARLY RETURN

You may return a rental early, but we cannot refund unused days from a prepaid rental period.

EXCHANGES DURING RENTAL

If a rental device stops working correctly during your rental period, contact us immediately at support@wirednwireless.ca. We will ship a replacement at no charge and provide a prepaid label for the original.

DAMAGE, LOSS, OR LATE RETURN

If a device is not returned by the return date, we will charge the regular daily rental rate plus a late fee. Non-return after 14 days may be treated as a purchase at the full replacement value. Damage beyond normal wear (cracked screens, liquid damage, missing accessories) will be billed using the replacement-cost schedule provided with your rental.

SAFETY RECALL

If the manufacturer issues a safety recall for a device you have rented, we will contact you, arrange a replacement, and refund in full if no replacement is available.

GENERAL

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer under Manitoba's Consumer Protection Act or the Canadian Competition Act.
